The 90s

The 90 musically are a totum revolutum of concepts. On the one hand, there is dance music derived from the electronica of the 80s and the commercial explosion of rap. With that hodgepodge, we remember classics 90s dance music like C+C Music Factory or Snap!, for example. However, the 90s are also the years of grief, depression and apathy, with levels of nihilism that come to mind in artists like Nirvana or Radiohead. Generation X ranged from grunge to shoegaze or indie, but always making it very clear that even when they took drugs they did so with an outstanding sadness even when they went to party.
